For us, Good design begins with asking the right questions. . . . .

Feel free to engage with the questions below to see if they reveal any truths for you.

And if and when we work together, we can get right to work on the design.

Main Objectives
Designing and building a home for yourself is a privilege but also a challenge. These prompts are about first principles — the Who, the What, and the Why.
The Site
A house that relates positively to its surroundings often has a connection with sun orientation, views, and breezes. Other factors of the surroundings make a place into a home.
The Outdoors
Your relationship to the outdoors influences how we shape your home. We work with “prospect” (open outlooks) and “refuge” (sheltered areas). The right balance creates spaces that feel both connected to nature and protected.
The Indoors
The interior arrangement of a home establishes relationships among occupants. Prospect means openness and light; refuge means comfort and privacy.
Primary Bedroom
The bedroom is your personal sanctuary. We’re interested in light, privacy, comfort, and how you use this space.
Primary Bathroom
Functional and indulgent — your preferences influence layout, materials, and daily routines.
Kitchen
The kitchen is often the heart of the home — gathering, nourishment, and ritual.
Dining
Dining is a social and spatial experience.
Family Space
Everyday life unfolds here — games, conversations, lounging.
Living Room
A space for hosting or reflection.
Bedrooms
Beyond sleep, bedrooms can be places for study, play, retreat.
Library / Study
For reading, focus, or storage of ideas.
Special Pieces & Art
Unique objects tell your story — art, furniture, heirlooms.
Home Office
If work happens at home, even occasionally, dedicated space matters.
Domestic Help / Nannies / Aging in Place
Laundry
Efficient, discreet, and integrated into your routines.

The exterior expresses identity and durability.

Daily textures and finishes define how your home feels.

Budget clarity guides good decisions.
